We currently only offer insect services in Iron Mountain, Michigan area. In the Upper Peninsula, we all know the potential for an overwhelming inhabitance of insects, especially mosquitos and ticks, and where Lyme disease can be quite prevalent.
We want to protect your home, family, and beloved pets from the threat of painful bites and health conditions related to them.
We use an array of products, including organic products - but organic does NOT mean ineffective. These products kill on contact and repel long after treatment as they are oil based.
These intelligent and crafty creatures are generally the largest type of animal you will have inhabiting your home. Raccoons have a much heavier audible footprint, which may lead you to believe something larger is in your attic. Given their nocturnal and loud natures, you're likely to catch onto a raccoon problem easily, as they they will be interrupting your sleep. They can easily cost you a small fortune in needed repairs of your ductwork, drywall, and electrical components. Their affinity for damage, especially ductwork, can cause toxicity in your airflow as harmful spores from raccoon droppings and urine can make it into your entire home's air supply.
This is another animal that is nocturnal and will more likely be moving at night. Opossums are true scavengers that will eat nearly anything, with an affinity for pet foods. Their main purpose is scavenging rather than nesting or reproducing, so physical damage is likely to be less with opossums. Similarly to other inhabitants, opossum feces and urine are still quite harmful to humans and they are likely to be flea-infested. Flea infestation from opossums are quite common. Opossum behaviors and tendencies are different from your average unwelcome attic guests, but we have got the knowledge to offer the proper solutions.
Squirrels are not quite as easy to find out. Squirrels are not nocturnal like most other common inhabitants and are likely living on a similar schedule as you. While you're at work, they're at work on your home making holes, paths, and nests. Squirrels can be quite adorable and are commonly sighted atop roofs and in trees in your yard, so people tend to think less about squirrels actually living or moving in and out of their home. For these reasons, squirrel damage is typically not apparent until there is significant damage to electrical work and insulation. Having your home inspected for gaps or a problem proactively could certainly save you down the road.
Rats are also nocturnal and can be heard most often at night while they scratch and chirp about in your home. These colonizing animals urinate and defecate while moving and can easily rack up the damage quickly with their ever-increasing population. They too are more prone to using ductwork to rip up and nest, thus also allowing toxic spores from droppings and urin into your home's main airflow. Due to their reputation and colonizing nature, having a rat infestation can get out of control quickly. We are here to assure you that we can permanently rid your home of these pests, clean up their mess, and make anew both your home and your peace of mind.
